Murder of Weymouth Sgt. Michael Chesna & Vera Adams
On the morning of July 15, 2018, Greg Connor responded with Weymouth and State Police officers to the scene of the murder of Weymouth Police Sgt. Michael Chesna and bystander Vera Adams.
He assembled and led the team of attorneys that prosecuted the case to a guilty verdict. Greg had to try the case twice, after a juror reportedly refused to deliberate following the first trial.
“Mike Chesna was deeply loved by his family and co-workers, and deeply respected by the people of Weymouth that he served. It was an honor to help bring his murderer to justice,” Connor said.
